In the mood for homemade potato soup

Ingredients: (u can take away or not use some ingredients)
16oz chicken stalk
1 can cream of chicken
1can cream of mushroom
Celery (I did 2 stalks)
Onion (as much as u like)
Half a bag of hash browns
6-10 Diced New Potatoes (I used the white new potatoes)
Velvetta Cheese (I used half)
1 pack of Cream Cheese
Hot Sausage (half a package)
Garlic Powder

Cook:
Put chicken Stalk, cream of chicken & mushroom in crock pot & stir
Add Hash Browns & sprinkle garlic powder, I just did a little for flavor
Dice potatoes into cubes
Cut celery & onions an add to crock pot
Then cut up velvetta & stir
Cook Sausage into crumbles on stove, drain grease & add to soup

Cook on low for 4-6 hours

An hour before serving add pack of cream cheese, this is what thickens it up

Remember to stir every hour or sooner

This soup is an amazing dish for cold weather & it is very filling!!!

Enjoy one of my favorite recipes :)

Boys & their "toys"

Does anyone else loose their man to the dark side when they come out with new games? My husbands drug of choice is Call of Duty... It's like that's all he sees or does, I guess it's like my addiction to the KINDLE (REHAB) So now I can at least vent about it on here, my personal space & get it out of my system.

I have even tried playing myself, one of my girlfriends is a big gamer & quite good, so I thought I give it a shot, but I just can't get the controller down, I did try (Danni). I guess I am out of my element on the gaming, but I do love a good Just Dance on the Wii.

Anyone else feel their men go to the dark side lol

Do they have rehab for kindle?

I totally need rehab from my kindle and I guess blogging is a form of rehab, it takes me away for the time and I get to talk about all the amazing books I have read. Tonight I want to get into one of my first read after 50 Shades of Grey, Down to You by Michelle Leighton. I also need to tell u if you don't have a kindle it is a great investment ha ha but it can possibly get you into a lot of trouble by you not wanting to participate in life and are consumed by the books and how easy they are to b, ok got that out of the way...

This is an ADULT CONTEMPERARY ROMANCE, 18+ Eyes Only

(Taken from Goodreads)
The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not.

Olivia Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white.

But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.
Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her.

Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.

Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of them.

Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire.

She wants them both.

And they want her.

How will she ever choose between them?

I so can't wait to discuss this book with you, let me know your thoughts!!! I know Michelle is working on the second book as we speak and she is excited for us to get our hands on it as soon as she completes it, but in all things good we will have to wait...

I absolutely love these charchters & have read this book twice over, it's my go to read, anyways, looking forward to ur thoughts!!!

Give credit when credit is due...

I have to say a special thank you to two of my favorite authors who gave me insight & pushed me, keep in mind these lovely ladies do not know me personally, but their words of wisdom filled me with fire to try something I normally wouldn't, so THANK YOU Michelle Leighton & Jennifer Probst!!! I am looking forward to also sharing their great works of literature that I have read currently, well to be honest I have been QUITE addicted to my kindle lately & couldn't get my hands on enough to read, so I think this will slow me down a bit...

Newbie wanna be I am here hear me ROAR

Hello blogging world!
I am a newbie to this so I am kind diving in the deep end before I should learn to tread water in the shallow end.  I am going to try to write something everyday but since I am a stay at home mom, that might now be as easy as it seems with my very active 15 month old boy.
I want to write about books, traveling, mommy advice & questions, teaching, crafting (I love Pinterest), food & so much more...
